Another Light at the Bridge

Gosh, it’s only the beginning of February and already too many of our dear furends have gone to the Bridge.

First, we said good-bye to our darling and oh-so-special Maggie.

And now, sweet Knox at Pittieful Love has gone, too.

If you don’t know Knox, he was a super awesome doggie who got to do lots of Most Wonderful things with his family and he was a great foster-brudder, too. He was only a about two years old and he suddenly got sick a few weeks ago. His family did everything they could to help him but after fighting real hard, he finally told them he had to go.

They never did really find out exactly why he got so sick and his momma and daddy are broken hearted. Even if you didn’t know them, I know it would help them lots to know that we’re all thinking abouts them. Pretty please either leaves a note on their bloggie or a message on Pittieful Love’s Facebook page.

Oh, and if you want to do something special to honor him, you might think about being a doggie blood donor. Knox was one and it sure is a great thing to do to help others. You can find more information through the Dog Blood Donors website or by talking to your vet.

Run free, Knox.
