Review & Giveaway: Orijen Alberta Wild Boar Treats

Hey everybuddy! I know you’ve prolly seen a bunch of our furends doing reviews for the new Orijen treats. Reading those reviews made me drool so wow, was I ever happy when gave US the paw-portunity to do our own review!

We chose the freeze-dried Alberta Wild Boar treats:

orijen front

Mom was super excited to read that there’s only TWO ingredients: wild boar liver and boneless wild boar.

orijen back

Now, we were wondering if they actually hired peoples to go out and hunt down these wild boar but it says on the package that the wild boar “is raised free-range on woodland farms.” We’re not really sure how that’s different from tame boar, but we’re not wild boar experts so we guess they must know what they’re talking about.

Anyways, that’s good and all, but what’s impawtant to us is how they TASTE!

Of course, mom tortured us made us exercise self-control first.

Once I grow opposable thumbs, woman, you are going to be SO sorry.

Once I grow opposable thumbs, woman, you are going to be SO sorry.

After about 87 hours, we FINALLY got to taste them.

Okay, before we go further, I wanna share with you my Treat Deliciosity Scale (patent pending):

ONE PAW – Yuck! I won’t even touch it.

TWO PAWS – Meh. I’ll eat it to be pawlite but truth be told, I’d rather have something else.

THREE PAWS – Yum! I think they’re really good and I’ll do some tricks for them inside but they prolly wouldn’t be enough to hold my attention out on a walk or something.

FOUR PAWS – OMD! OMD! I will do ANYTHING for these kinda treats! Inside, outside, doesn’t matter. I’ll even make up NEW tricks for them!

So, according to my  scale, I give these treats THREE PAWS. They’re yummy AND good for me. And even though I didn’t lose my brindle brain over them, I would definitely like it if mom bought it for us again.

Thanks, Mr. Chewy and Orijen!

Thanks, Mr. Chewy and Orijen!
